To rescue friends abroad... The Bahamas has had and STILL has a ban on sending pups under the age of 6 months out of our country. Yes in the past I have sent many pups to wonderful homes in Canada, with help and on my own. But right now we are fighting a deadly virus, DISTEMPER; mainly in Nassau but there have also been cases in Eleuthera. Please be aware of the danger that can be caused if an unknowingly sick pup transports the virus and endangers other dogs or possibly causes an outbreak. I am in no way trying to stop our amazing Potcakes from finding great forever homes, but right now the bigger picture is the safety of other animals and securing a way for us to continue to save animals and send them abroad in the future. Please dont ruin that possibility by being impatient and not having respect for the decision of the Vet Association and the Goverment.... wait for this virus to settle down..... and for the go ahead to be given. Please stop putting more animals at risk!!!!
