To take care of Rexs hot spots, Ive had to roll him over on his back, which is something he used to do on his own but cant any more. He gets a little touchy when people try to roll him over, and make noise about it. But now I can roll him onto his back and he just stays there. I give him lots of chest rubs which he likes, and then I use the medication which feels cool and helps with the itching, so hes come to enjoy the experience. He will just stay on his back for as long as I want him to, and when were done he feels better, and has more energy. he wants to get up and walk around after that. Its nice to be able to apply medication like that with no drama, and it ends up being a positive experience for Rex too.
