To the Dry and Barren Desert Have the Brothers brought the Angel of Water That she might bring forth a garden and a green place Tree filled with fragrant flowers Cast thyself into the enfolding arms of the Angel of Water For as a Desert. Formerly void of life and Nourishment, is the human mind, Previous to being nourished by Gods Holy Law, Which after having received the law, And seeking her with all ones heart and soul, Begins to learn from the Law, And as the Law teaches, She causes to sprout in his mind, A Garden of thought and a Beautiful place of thought at that And from those thoughts, Goes forth on the lips, Streams of Living Water, From the Nourishment of the Angel of Water, The Holy Law, Which leaves the Lips and Waters the Minds of those in contact with the now nourished mind, And from one brother to another, Flows the Holy Law For when they see the Garden, They will begin to either Question the Fruits on what they ought to be, or they will partake of the beautiful thoughts of the garden in thankfulness
