To the Group: I am amazed at the recent connections we have made/uncovered since the first of the year! The reason this group is such a success & so enjoyable is because of member participation. I truly appreciate all the time we spend here helping each other, ok? So I have a request. I believe history & pictures should be shared, not stored away in a box where we cant see/share or sold for profit, it is Our Towns History. Can we all make a effort to start gathering Out Towns pictures/newspaper articles/stories that you, your parents/grandparents/relatives may have stored away? My goal is to digitize & document/share as much stuff as I can in the next few years, with the Good Lord willing. If you are local, there is a place here in town that I can scan items & get online, ok? If you are out of town, we can figure out something to make it work. In 30 years I can hand a few thumb drives to a young historian & tell him Here is the work of a Entire Community that truly loves Our Town, please hold this & pass it forward & keep Our towns history alive Thanks to the group for all you do! I am the lucky one here, without you guys this would not be such a success!
