To the Mods. I’d like to propose a game mechanic/ extra challenge for this upcoming semester’s game. How it works: The crucial element of the Marked Hunt is a mechanic called the “Un-Death Marker”. At noon on the first day of HvZ, I will randomly select five human players from the list of registered players to receive an “Un-Death Marker”. This marker signifies that any zombie who tags the marked player receives a single Collected Marker (one point, in layman’s terms). Rules. MARKING HUMANS: 1. Between Noon and 1 PM on the first day, I (or the Mods, in case they decide to integrate this into the game mechanics wink wink nudge nudge) will randomly select five human players from the registered list to be given an “Un-Death Marker” (or UDM for short). The names of these players will be posted to the Facebook page, and for the next twelve hours, those humans will be worth one Collected Marker (the points in this challenge) to whichever zombie logs them as a tag in the game. 2. Once a Marked Human has been logged online as a tag, the zombie who logged the tag is awarded one Collected Marker (CM), which means that said zombie shall select a new human to be given a UDM. This UDM must be placed within three hours of receiving a CM, or the ability to place a UDM is then transferred back to the challenge moderator. 3. If a Marked Human goes twelve hours without being tagged, their UDM expires, and they cannot be Marked again for the rest of the game. A new human will be given a UDM in their place. 4. While there is no limitation to how many CMs a zombie can collect at any given time (trying not to screw with the actual HvZ gameplay here), no zombie can mark more than one player a day. If a zombie collects more than one CM in a day, the right to place a UDM goes to the most recently tagged Marked Human (If you’ve collected a CM, and then collect a second, you only get to place a UDM for the first CM you collect that day. The second UDM is placed by the second Marked Human you tag, and so on). 5. If a human already has a UDM on them, they cannot be given an additional UDM (they don’t stack, and neither does point value). Safety: 1. FOLLOW ALL RULES OF TRUMAN HVZ AS DETAILED BY THE MODERATORS! This game does not function under a separate set of rules from HvZ, it is meant to operate within the game. 2. Don’t be stupid, don’t get it banned, don’t be a dick, and have fun.
