To the critical minds who can see beyond the demonized image of him as a thug and recognize the systematic structures that created the event, I applaud you. To those who can readily acknowledge that justice is served for a select few, while others are stripped of their protections time and time again, I stand with you. And to those who are angry and continue to demand change and social justice for all (including people of color), I love you.
