To the ever common question: How do I like my new job? Thanks for asking :) Its been 3 days, Ill give you the run down as a chef here at MiMis! Day 1: Girl Power! The waitresses are excited to have a female in the kitchen, as well as I find out Im the only female chef the other chefs (not including the head chef) have ever met and they have +10 years experience cooking! Day 2: I have an idea that could make the kitchen run smoother. I bring it up with the head chef and we begin implementing it as a test to see how it does. After the rush when everything goes great, it becomes a done deal! Prepping onion rings before the dinner rush instead of making each portion before an order, saving tons of time and mess! Day 3: Ive decided to start learning Spanish, the chef that is training me is teaching me Spanish now as well! Im pretty sure I have the salads and burgers down now as well, though Im going to keep at it! I really love everyone I work with here, its a ton of fun!
