To the person who allowed to their lovely dog to run into a main road and not take responsiblity for him/her hope your proud yourselves. You should not have beable to own a animal a dog is for life!! And for the people in cars in front of me in cars who couldnt be bothered to stop, what has this world come too??? I was driving along the A458 travelling towards welshpool this morning following a flow of traffic travelling at 40mph when suddenly a car swerved (on the seven sisters as i call them) on the side of the road was a dog, obiously he had been hit by a car, i slowed down, and stopped by the side of him, Hazzards lights straight on, bellend end behind me honked his horn, wont repeat what i said. few yards down the road a woman was getting out of the car, she had hit the poor dog. My mate saw too the dog, i directed the traffic and spoke to the woman who was pretty shaken up, the dog suddenly ran straight through the hedge straight out in front she never saw him, it took the front end off the side of the car. The poor dog which was a lovely Rottweiler was not in a good state, back legs had gone. A little girl was also in the car and they were off to the seaside, called police in which took a long time coming and the vets, was good at directing traffic by the time they got there. But cut the story short the dog was microchipped and funny how when they were called to say the dog had been found and when they were informed what had happened oh dear it wasnt their dog they had given it away a couple of weeks ago and they didnt care about the dog or about the accident. It is sad to sad that the poor dog was put down, it wasnt his fault or the poor woman who was driving. It was the Dogs Owners responsibility to keep him safe. The poor woman is devastated that the poor dog was put to sleep she wasnt bothered about her car or that her day out to the seaside with her daughter was ruined it was the dog she felt more for. I cant believe some people sometimes why have animals if you care for them?? thanx Glenda for the help you gave today we done a good deed today even if we couldnt save the dog we tried!!
