To those who believe that when people die ascend to heaven. . . and be with God. Obviously they DO NOT believe in the Resurrection of the dead. . . Why? Because if after death people ascend to the heavens and be with God. . . The question rises. . . Do they go there dead or alive? If they ascend to the heavens dead. . . well it means there are too many dead people in the heavens. and if they ascend there alive after death it means there would be not need for Resurrection of the dead by Gods Son Jesus Christ. . . Is Jesus going to raise those who ALIVE from the dead? ... Uhm!!! it doesnt sound right, but he will raise the DEAD from the dead, Yes!! it make sense now!! Well we should really be careful about what we believe. This is the main reason why it is hard and I mean very HARD for many to preach the GOOD NEWS of the Kingdom of God. . . They lack FAITH!!! If people continue to live after death then it means there is not going to be a Resurrection of the dead ... Ever had a deep thought about this? So if we do not believe in the Resurrection of the DEAD by Jesus Christ. . . Consider what it is written: Now I remind you, brothers, of the good news that I declared to you, which you also accepted, and for which you have taken your stand. Through it you are also being saved if you hold firmly to the good news I declared to you, unless you became believers for nothing. For among the first things I handed on to you was what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures; and that he was buried, yes, that he was raised up on the third day according to the Scriptures; and that he appeared to Ce′phas, and then to the Twelve. After that he appeared to more than 500 brothers at one time, most of whom are still with us, though some have fallen asleep in death. After that he appeared to James, then to all the apostles. Now if it is being preached that Christ has been raised from the dead, how is it that some among you say there is no resurrection of the dead? If, indeed, there is no resurrection of the dead, then Christ has not been raised up. But if Christ has not been raised up, our preaching is certainly in vain, and your faith is also in vain. Moreover, we are also found to be false witnesses of God, because we have given witness against God by saying that he raised up the Christ, whom he did not raise up if the dead are really not to be raised up. For if the dead are not to be raised up, neither has Christ been raised up. Further, if Christ has not been raised up, your faith is useless; you remain in your sins. Then also those who have fallen asleep in death in union with Christ have perished. 1 Cor 15:1-7,12-18 As you go, preach, saying: ‘The Kingdom of the heavens has drawn near.’ Matthew 10:7 And this good news of the Kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come. Matthew 24:14 Do you also tell others about the GOOD NEWS You read in the Bible ? ?
