To throw in the towel always seems like a good idea at the moment because it seems to put you in a state of no responsibility. I believe that humans now more than ever, feel the obligation to please other humans. I once heard the simplest yet wisest words come from a speaker one Sunday morning, he said, Do your best! Thats absolutely true, that is all we can do. I myself sometimes struggle with applying these words to my life. Allowing humans to run our lives could become overwhelming. This is the reason why we need to build boundaries around ourselves as a protection from stress that is not relevant. I say relevant because life does bring stress with work that we must accomplish. But never the less its not in vain because a little sting wakes us up to reality. There are days I dont want to get up and deal with my responsibilities because reality hits me in the sense where I must work harder that morning than I did yesterday. But our life is not supposed to be good just for our benefit but for the security of this world we live in. Responsibility is a blessing believe it or not! Responsibility lets you know that you are important that someone or something depends on you. Next time you feel to throw in the towel and give up on living, just remember you are not giving up on yourself but on the lives of others. -Annette
