To whom it may concern (which is apparently a lot of people,) Yes, I am a supporter of tattoos. I am a supporter of people who are EMPLOYED with tattoos. Yes, there are some very, very poorly drawn/chosen tattoos on people. Yes, some people, unfortunately, have a hard time getting employed because their tattoos cant be covered in business attire. But, why dont you actually ask me what I want and where I want it before you start trying to tell me how evil they are? Since people are so concerned, heres the list: A tribal phoenix tattoo on my left hip, in honor of my brother and a promise, that Id prefer to be kept private, that I made to him. This is a tattoo that I already currently have, and will be waiting until I am eighteen with money to get finished, as now its just the outline. A suicide awareness butterfly on my right hip in honor of my bestfriend of over twelve years, Raychells, brother, TJ Gvozd, who passed away a few years ago. This is a matching tattoo with a friend, but will also mean a lot to me because I know many others whove struggled with, and became a victim, of suicide. I havent chosen the design yet, and wont get it until I have an original one drawn up that I like. Although it is a matching tattoo, it is likely that the exact designs wont match, but will essentially be the same in the same area. The third will be on my right rib cage and will include the initials of three family members whove meant a lot to me throughout my life, one of them being my aunt, Andrea, who passed away in December of 2010. My left rib cage will be a tattoo (still deciding between two options) for my two younger sisters, Carrigan and Paige. These two are the most important people in the world to me, and Im sorry, but anyone who has a problem with the tattoo I get for them, doesnt need to voice their opinion, period. My girls are my girls, and Im not ashamed of having something for them permanently put on my body, period. Either my left wrist or my right shoulder will have a Trinity Knot. This is a tattoo that I am getting for myself and in symbolism of not only my Celtic heritage, but also because it is a universal symbol used in most religions, and is very unlikely to offend anyone who sees it. If it is on my shoulder, it will be regular black in. If I do decide to put it on my wrist, it will be in a form of ink called invisible ink, which means it will hardly be noticeable, and will also glow under a black light. So not only will it be for myself, but I can awe children with my ability to glow a blueish purple;P I am also considering a Native American-inspired wolf on my left shoulder, a back piece of some sort, and something on my right shoulder, if that isnt where I put my trinity knot. Yes, this brings us to possibly eight tattoos. Does that seem like a lot? To some people, yes. But, EACH of my tattoos will be covered (or unnoticeable) in business attire, which is perfect for the teaching career that I will have. If teaching doesnt work out, Id still be able to get a MILITARY CAREER, because theyd be covered in dress uniform. So to all of you who say I wont get a respectable job, your concerns are appreciated, but invalid. Yes, each of these will be paid with my own money that I earn myself. Yes, theyre each tattoos that I have put thought into. I have wanted tattoos for as long as I can remember, and I will have them, n matter who it offends. If you dont like it, dont ask to see them. For those who are giving honest concern, this isnt meant to offend you. Im just really tired of hearing the same reasons being brought up continuously, and then nobody seems to care when I tell them their reasons dont apply to me. If you dont like what I permanently put on my body after Im of age, dont pay for it and dont ask to see them. Thanks.
