Toast The Roast at Roblar Winery Saturday, Oct. 26 from 5pm | 9pm We reserved a succulent Berkshire Pork from our neighbors at Jimenez Farm! We plan to give it a good rub with a blend of spices, avocado honey, and Bourbon, and to spit-roast it gently over seasoned red oak and apple wood. We made a chutney with the Elberta peaches from our tree, sweet and tangy, that should complement the rich, smoky pork very well. Add some warm jalapeno corn muffins, roasted sweet potatoes tossed with chipotle brown sugar and braised greens. To start, we’ll have a Mizuna, Asian Pear, & Fuyu Persimmon Salad tossed in Honey Mustard Viniagrette, with Candied Pecans and Pomegranate Seeds. For dessert, warm apple tarte tatin with a sea salt caramel ice cream. Cost per couple...........$225 Includes pre-dinner wine tasting, dinner, & paired wines.
