Today, 01.04.215 was a Great day at Beaumont for 15 children showed up for our class. We started off with prayer and the children automatically stood up at 2:Pm without having to be told to, and we prayed. Today I shared a short Object Lesson using a balloon and a plastic coke bottle. The balloon had a face on representing the children and it was pushed into the bottle with the top wrapped over the top of the bottle. The actual lesson was about Peer Pressure and how it affects their life’s and the balloon was each child and the bottle represents their friends who pressure them into wrong actions. I ask the children why Brother Bones & Mrs. Brenda come and teach about Jesus to them, most of their answers was correct, but the answer I wanted was that each of them would go into their community, schools and tell their friends about Jesus and it is peer pressure which keeps them from doing this. So I ask one child to blow up the balloon which was inside the bottle, which is actually impossible. This represents the peer pressure, keeping them from sharing. They could not blow up the balloon and so there was the lesson. LSM’s Children’s church also made cards for Miss Amy and still had time to play some New Testament Bingo. Today at Tucker St. Apts. only one child named Mason showed up, so he and I prayed and I did the same lesson I did at Beaumont and he and Brenda played several games of Checkers and Brenda won each. Since Mason showed up and applied himself in the class he walked away with a drink and some candy, as did all of the children today… Father thank You for today and for the children that You have given to Brenda and I. We pray that You are glorified in everything we do through You, for them…In Jesus Name…Bones & Brenda in CHRIST…!!!!
