Today (1 September 2014) Hudson and another key leader from Odissa Sudhesh were travelling to G.Udayagiri by a hired taxi. Hudson was sitting in the front side along with the driver, Sudhesh was sitting in the back seat. In a curve, a car coming in high speed dashed against this car. The driver fell unconsious. Hudson had an impact on his head and rib. Sudhesh has his right leg fractured. The small car that hit this car was also smashed. The driver of the opposite car had severe bleeding from his head and a girl in that car is said to be critical. They have been rushed to Cuttack hospital. Praise God, a public bus was coming from behind. There were few believers known to Hudson (He had served earlier in this region as missionary). They immediately got down and helped Hudson and Sudhesh to get a three-wheeler and rushed them to the Government hospital in Phulbani. After Xray and check up, Hudson was discharged though he had pain in head and right ribs. He may have pain and need not take any medicine. However, Sudhesh was referred to Behrampur medical college hospital. They hired an ambulance and reached Behrampur hospital. Sudhesh has a fracture below the right knee. Since, there is swelling and pain, he will be under observation before the plaster of Paris bandage is done.
