Today 20 years ago( Me at the age of 18) had to make a life changing decision that no mother should have to ever make after 2 weeks of me living in the NICU because I would not leave my baby girl and consulting with several doctors I knew I had to let Erica go. The whole day I gave my family members time to say goodbye. As I held her one last time as they turned the machines off and took all of the tubes out and for once I got to see her sweet face my sweet nurse that was there with me day one Amanda took me to a room where I sat and cried and rocked my here until her heart stopped beating and she got her angel wings 7:04 pm that night and she went to be with our Lord. Some say time heals and the pain will go away. They are wrong on the pain thing. You learn to live again but you will never forget every little detail. But in all honesty it is what made me the mother I am today. And it made me Stronger I am who I am today because of the experience I have lived through. God has a plan it may not be what I wanted but there is s Reason for everything. And Thank God Im saved by the Grace of God a That I will see my only girl ERICA RENEE one day its the Circle Of Life! To all the moms that have been in my shoes Your are in my Prayers I know how you feel. Its ok to remember & its ok to have these feelings. Its normal but just remember you will see them again! Time does heals but you will always have the memories. In no way am Im trying to make anyone feel sorry for me please do not its just me reliving a moment in my life one that I will never forget what I want you to do is just hold your babies right and never ever forget to tell them how much you love them!
