Today, April 6, 2014, is the 15th anniversary of my precious sister, Ruth Kay Jones, passing from this earthly home to her Heavenly home. She fought a good fight. Cancer is a terrible disease. I miss her so much. I think of her everyday and still miss her even though it has been 15 years. We were so close and we shared everything with each other, we even went on vacations together !! Those were awesome days. She left this earth way too early....she was only 57 years old. But, God was ready for her. Our loss was Heavens gain. Her two children, Derek and Cynthia, miss her so much too. Ruthie always let me have the kids whenever I wanted them and they became just like my kids. I love them forever !!! I told Derek and Cynthia at their mommas memorial, that I could never take the place here their mom, but, I would always be there for them, and I still feel the same way. Dick, her husband, was an awesome caregiver to her and I have always admired him for the care and love he gave her during her time of illness. God has placed a beautiful, loving lady in his life. After 11 years of being by himself, he remarried. We love her. I miss you Ruthie, we will be with you someday for eternally. Save me a seat !!!! Tell daddy hi too. Rest in Peace sissy.
