Today Bangalore disappointed me. Was walking near the Koramangala Club, when two lads on an Activa hit me from behind, pushed me to the ground and snatched my bag away. There were people walking around but no one came to help. Not a single person offered a hand to me while I was lying on the ground hurt, in a daze and at a loss. I went to the Koramangala Police station immediately and lodged an FIR. Will be getting it in the evening today. One of the official sitting there, Sanjay, was rude to me while I was writing the complaint. But that doesnt hurt me. I lost important documents but that doesnt hurt me. What hurts me more is what the people in this city has turned into. Being mugged and injured in broad daylight on a busy street and not a single passers-by offered to help. Having lived in this city for over 7 years now... today Bangalore disappointed me. Or rather the people living in it did it. Not going to stop at this. Have been in contact with the police and the officers interacting with me at a later time have been quite helpful. I will not stop searching for those criminals.
