Today Brian & I spent the morning searching for The John Lennon Wall in Prague, a memorial to Lennon, after his assassination in 1980, who became a pacifist hero & political symbol of freedom for Czech youth, as pop music was banned in Communist Czechoslovakia. At the graffiti covered memorial, snow began to fall and a Czech youth strummed guitar, singing Lennon and Beatles songs. Brian looked over to discover the wall, coincidentally, sits directly across a small courtyard from the French embassy, where a new memorial is growing - for the victims of the terror attacks this week in Paris.
