Today December 26 marks the 10th Anniversary of the 2004 Indian Ocean Tsunami. This Tsunami is one of the worst natural disasters South East Asia faced in many years; it struck 14 countries in the Indian Ocean killing several hundreds and injuring and displacing many millions of people. Indonesia, Thailand, and Sri Lanka were hit the hardest with over 250,000 confirmed dead. I lost several of my friends and relatives, most of them came from overseas to spend their Christmas holidays. They were enjoying the warm weather & beautiful beaches in the Southern part of Sri Lanka as the Tsunami struck. Truly heartbreaking & horrific to hear the stories from those who survived. This documentary is a compilation of stories from handful of survivors from Indonesia, Thailand, and Sri Lanka.
