Today, Friday the 22nd of August. Its been a year now since i got back from Orlando, Florida. I got back with less than $200 dollars in my pocket to my name and a shit load of balloons (which i spent over $100 before getting back over here to PR) my mom was happy for me to be back but at the same time upset because i wasnt doing shit with my life, she asked me...ok Gerardo so what are you going to do now?...I honestly didnt have a clue and was pretty sad about it, but i said... I worked hard practicing balloons so i created a habit and it became a hobby, let me find a part time job so then i can afford more balloons and eventually explode with this balloon thing! I found a job, i would walk to work and back home sometimes (an hour walking to and back) until i started using my moms bike, i would always get to work sweating to sweat more in that stock room. I eventually got a cheap car after a few months and then said ok, now i can move around. Within those few months i would ALWAYS work hard everyday to get better at these balloons because i seen potential in it to make enough money to get a brand new car and get this business running someday, Ive had people tell me to move on and just go to school, these balloons wont get you anywhere, these balloons arent going to make you enough money! TODAY I WORK AT FUDDRUCKERS MAKING BALLOON CHARACTERS FOR KIDS AND AT SEÑOR FROGS MAKING AWESOME BALLOON HATS FOR TOURIST AND GOT A BRAND NEW CAR! Im my own boss and i can finally make enough money to get my own! In less than one year i made this happen! THERES NO EXCUSE FOR PEOPLE TO SAY THEY HAVE NO JOB! When you really want something you GET IT! YOU MAKE IT HAPPEN! I want to thank everyone who has supported me with what i do as a part time job! More to come, i love you guys! Have a great weekend!
