Today... I Now Know... Saturday, February 1, 2014 1 Corinthians 13:12 But then shall I know even as also I am known. At a young age of twenty one I was convinced of the gospel of Jesus of which I knew of since a child growing up in the church as though church was my babysitter. I have learned the Holy Bible old and new testament with private study of no interpretation. God had favored me to know him above written words as my faith was tried as with fire, every word of my belief was manifested true against the realities of life. I have preached before the congregations of many churches... I have Witnessed on street corners the faith of Jesus... I have done the work of an evangelist, saw tears of repentance... In Christ Jesus I have died to my identify on this earth to know the fellowship of the glory of God and his anointing. But today... Saturday, February 1, 2014. Then Lord God did reveal to me, what he knew about me before the foundation of the world ever was. For the very first time of my life in Christ, I stood still with awe and wonder with how God so patiently waited for this very moment of my maturity in him knowing. I went out this morning with thoughts of meeting with a few friends in Christ to share the encouraging gospel of Jesus with others in the community. As I arrived at the place where we were to meet at a local Mc Donalds, I noticed that not one of my friends were there as they said they would be. So as I did set out to do, I purchased a breakfast sandwich and noticed a older man siting by himself. I approached him and asked him if I could join him, that I would like to share some good news with him. He nodded with agreement and gave me his full attention. I told him that Jesus Christ is soon to return, and that we will see him face to face as the Son of The living God. He shared a grin with me. I then bit into my sandwich and we began a very interesting conversation for over an hour. Four other older men and one older woman sat at our table and listened to our conversation with interest. The older man had been in church nearly all his life, knew the word of God as we went back and forth with, It is written. Our talk ended because I told them I had to go to a nearby library as I had purposed to share with others there. That there was someone there waiting on me. He shook my hand with a great smile as the others smiled with him as I left the table. I turned to him before walking out the door and said to him, Today your soul is saved, I shall see you again on the other side. The man was very old, and knew very much. But he had found a priceless jewel today as he was awakened to the grace of God. He was planning to tell God about himself when he stood before the presence of God. How he sought to do the many things that was pleasing to God as attending church, and things that he could do under his own will of choice. But as we talked about how there was only one name that was approved worthy of God, and how that many will say Lord, Lord, how about what Ive done. How God would reject many with self claimed righteousness, I saw his soul relieved and liberated right before my very eyes. A man ran outside and stooped me asking me what church I attended, because he asked I did tell him, but I also told him that no place on this earth can take credit for what knowing the written word of God has done in my heart. I told him to seek Jesus in his word, and to walk in his word to know him. As I made it to the library I walked about and saw a middle aged white man sitting by himself searching through a book dressed in the Seattle Hawks football team jersey. I approached him with a smile inquiring, Do you know something about how I should think Seattle is going to win the Super Bowl? Then I sat in a chair right beside him. He smiled a big smile and began to share his thoughts with me about his team of choice. I did talk football with him for a few moments with laughter. Then I told the reason I came over to him because I was part of an association called United Christian Brothers and was out to share the gospel of Jesus with encouragement. His eyes gave me full attention when I asked him if he knew anything about Jesus and his gospel. He did tell what he knew of salvation. Then he ask me a question that opened the door to his destiny. He asked, Why did Jesus not live a full life and show us with detail what we needed to know about God? He said He was forty seven and Jesus was only in his early thirties. I told him that Jesus told some self-righteous men that were convinced that they knew something, they knew nothing. 2 Corinthians 3:14 But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ. I told him it is written, Jesus did declare to men inquiring, John 8:58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am. I told him that because of Adam eating from that tree of knowledge we are blinded of the truth being of his bloodline. That Adam released the influencer against the word of God into the world with belief acted upon eating of a fruit. It was not the fruit within itself, it was the believed thought of with eating the fruit which is the manifestation of faith. I told him that the true identity of Jesus was not his human identity, the his flesh was manifested with purpose to redeem mankind to himself. I told him that we are not our flesh... I told him, 1 Corinthians 15:50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. I told him his true identity is within his human identity, Ecclesiastes 12:7 Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it. We talked for over an hour. We prayed together in that library holding hands as he was in near tears confirming his faith in Christ Jesus as the Savior of his soul. I left that place as walking in the very presence of God. It seemed as everyone in the entire library was frozen silent as that young man was crossed over into the realm eternity of God knowing. As I was driving home God did speak to me.... As I stopped to a stop light a group of people was on the corner. One lady came up to my window and handed me a card with a picture of a man on it, and the name of a church. She asked me if I wanted prayer. I asked her what was she doing, she said, sharing the gospel. I asked her what she believed the gospel to be. She said everything but Jesus Christ. She was really promoting a church building, and a man titled Apostle. I shared with her, it is written, John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. That there was no other gospel. That there was no other name, Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. I told her I was inspired to tell her she is loved of Jesus, and that, Jesus prayed for her, that her faith fail not. Ands that the only commandment of Jesus was to love one another as he did love us. That Jesus gave us the gift of life everlasting through faith, and that we are to share that gift with others with preaching the gospel of Christ Jesus. John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Luke 22:32 But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren. I drove away as I watched tears run down her face. I now know what God already knew... 1 Corinthians 13:12 But then shall I know even as also I am known. Saturday, February 1, 2014 Today... I Now Know...
