Today I am escorting my mother to her homeland for a visit. Im not gonna lie.......I am anxious. Traveling on a plane with her, at 92, (her short-term memory is gone) with cane, purse, confusion, our luggage and the possibility of snow, is daunting. Once I deliver her to her sons door I will be free to be blissed out spending time with my daughter, Jennifer Keefe, granddaughter, Izzy, and Darrin Thornburg (Jens gift to our family)and my many other relatives and friends.
