Today I am interviewing for a position as an Adjunct Professor in - TopicsExpress

Today I am interviewing for a position as an Adjunct Professor in the Center for Management Communication of the USC Marshall School of Business. I was recommended by a friend who has been teaching there for many years. I believe she recommended me at least six months ago but, Im told, there was a change in administration and the email was lost for some time. I received an email with a link to the schools application process around a month ago, along with an apology and an invitation to apply. I had completely forgotten about it. Im told that Adjunct Professors generally get paid so minimally they end up working for very little on an hourly basis. Im not entirely certain, and Ill have to wait and see what (if anything) Im offered, but part of me feels I would almost pay them for the experience. This would be an amazing accomplishment for the son of a peddler who never went to undergrad school. Im trying to remain stoic, but I am a bit excited.
