Today I am reminded how good we have it in the U.S. and how truly blessed we are. It was planned for me to preach today in China to lead a church service for our guests and a small group of Chinese. However, for any meeting you have in China you must obtain a permit, no matter if its for business or religious reasons. Since it was submitted as a church service it was put on the slow track and didnt get approved. Its not that they wouldnt approve it, it just takes longer to receive one for a religious service. Thats OK. God has a purpose. I also think its important to show people here that Christians do follow laws. The key is, nobody can keep you from living for Jesus. How I act and talk here is as effective as preaching behind a pulpit. Ill keep living for Jesus no matter where I am. One day I will preach here. Until then, Ill keep praying for folks and hopefully letting the light of Jesus shine through me. China is filled with wonderful people. And its a privilege to be here. God is opening doors here, and Ill wait on Him and not try to force them open myself. Love you all back home. Enjoy church service on Sunday.
