Today I am sharing this story with you as I need to celebrate a life. A little baby by the name of Juno crossed over and got her wings. She was a survivor and endured more than her fair share of lifes drama, Due to her faithful nature she waited for her master to return home, sitting in the sun not understanding that it was burning her badly. Her immune system may have been compromised and she had a difficult time recovering. Long story short, my Mom took her in and nursed her back to health... giving her the love and nuturing that she so deserved. About a month ago Juno was diagnosed with Cancer in the tissue around her jaw. Skin Cancer. She rallied to the challenge and showed my Mom that she was grateful for the love she received and the life my Mom provided her. Today I got a call.. Juno had gotten her wings. There are two lives to celebrate here.. Juno for being a survivor and suppporting my Mom, and my Mom, for taking her in, healing her and providing a safe and loving place for her to live her life. As is custom, I ask that you please look up and say hello to the newest star in the sky, and a small thank you to my Mom and the people like her who take on these kids who need help, allow them to live and know love and to be stong enough to know when it is time to say good bye. Paws up to you Juno and Mom.
