Today I am thankful for my grandparents. I grew up with awesome grandparents on both sides. They gave me crazy nicknames, fed me sweets and let me play in the dirt. I have my grandpa Morris looks... And feet and my grandpa Armstrongs work ethic. I wish I had a green thumb like my grandma Mildred, but so far, only my mint plant, Zombie Jesus, has survived my care. I have her eyes though, and, from what Ive heard, her feistiness. I do however take after my grandma Lawana Morris who is the most wonderful story teller I know. I love to read and write and tell stories and I hope I will be as good as her, someday. She is also my confidant, no one has ever understood me like she has. She is loving and crazy and has never grown up. She gives the best hugs and can put me to sleep with her fingertips. I feel like Im the luckiest girl in the world because I was born into a family with her as the matriarch. She always stresses family bonds and friendships and is truly happy when her family is happy. She is an amazing person. Love you graham cracker.
