Today I conquered a fear. Im not really a fan of heights. And by that, I mean I hate them. But you know what creates confidence? Doing something that pushes your limits - something that makes you uncomfortable. You cannot be courageous in the absence of fear as my girl Chalene Johnson says. Well friends, homie got some CONFIDENCE and COURAGE today š My cousin and I, both of us having a strong dislike for heights, signed up for all 3 course levels at a nearby adventure park in Daytona Beach. Starter course? Sign us up. Harder and higher course? Sign us up. 50 foot platforms and 500 foot zip lines? *gulp* Sign us up. The funny thing is we were both being so competitive toward each other that we powered through the fear without really realizing it. Im gonna win Ill push you off this platform Im gonna die on this thing *climbs out on the ropes* You probably will. I might too. *climbs out on the ropes too* š And we made a new friend in the trees! Oddly enough, Im visiting from MI, my cousins in from IL and our new friend is visiting from OH. Midwest repreSENT. Go out and conquer your fears.
