Today, I feel GREAT. Even though it is doctor day at New Destiny Treatment Center: Clinton, Ohio, and I spent all day yesterday on a bus trip to Dayton, OH to watch the East Canton High School marching band at their first-ever state appearance. Im thankful for all the medical family and friends in my life who have given me advice and are on-call for questions and helpful suggestions. Without our niece, Kassandra, who works for a pain management doctor and suggested the vertebroplasty procedure that repaired the fracture in my spine caused by the cancer, I would have NEVER been able to withstand a full day traveling, sitting on bleachers, etc., and been able to report to work today to assist (boss around) the counselors at NDTC. So, heres to the doctors, physicians assistants, nurses, medical assistants, praying family, friends, co-workers, and Crystal Park Church. I am blessed beyond measure. What a wonderful senior year Drew is having. So glad that Im able to be present more with him, Don and Joel.
