Today I finished the final installment in Edmund Morriss trilogy - TopicsExpress

Today I finished the final installment in Edmund Morriss trilogy on Theodore Roosevelt. This man did more then most of us can dream to achieve in a lifetime. From his African safaris, mapping uncharted rivers in the amazon, hunting and ranching in the west, writing numerous books on american wild life, naval warfare and ornithology, defending the american public from a vast overtake of corporate greed, brokering the end to international conflicts wining him a nobel peace prize. To conserving this countries most pristine wild life and lands so that future generations may one day stand in awe of their majesty. His ideals were not derived from a political party but his innate sense of justice, patriotism, conservationism and equality! All this from a Republican… go figure. His trials and tribulations resonate today as much as they did during the turn of the 20th century.Maybe if we understood how it happened then wed be less inclined to allow it to manifest once again.
