Today I flew down to Cape Town for the Slender Wonder Conference. It is the first time that I flew in a while. It was absolutely wonderful. I fit into the the seats, with some room to spare, and the seatbelt fastened properly, and I had to pull it tighter, and there was a whole piece left over!!! It might sound silly to you, but I was ecstatic. The last time I flew, the seatbelt couldnt fasten. And off course, I kept my mouth shut. I wasnt about to ask the flight attendant for an extension, I resigned to rather die in a plane crash, than die of embarrassment to ask for one. The other highlight of my day was that in the hotel room, they normally supply bathrobes for use while staying in the hotel. Now normally I wouldnt even take note of it, because they also never fitted me. Today, I took a leisurely bath, and then wrapped my self up in the bathrobe quite comfortably, and I am now relaxing on the bed - in my robe, which have lots of room to spare - before preparing for the gala evening tonight. As you can imagine, I am over the moon. These two accomplishments might not sound great to you, but to me it is major!!! Now I am looking forward to a great Black Tie Gala Evening, with 150 or the Slender Wonder Doctors in attendance. I think it is going to be awesome!
