Today I fly (figuratively if not literally) from CHICAGO to Paris. Its been a crazy few weeks finishing up all my work on Chicago but it has also been a time for me to reflect on what this company has meant to me. Anyone who has done a show, anywhere, Broadway or not knows it is a very special experience. Quite frankly it is so difficult to explain but there is an intensity in the process that brings people together in a way that doesnt exist in many other workplaces. On a show like CHICAGO which has been here for 18 years, it isnt just a show, it really is a family. We have celebrated birthdays, weddings, births, weve watched children grow up before our eyes, we help each other through trying times, and hold each other up when one of us loses a loved one. So, for me, this isnt goodbye because this family will be a part of my life forever. To the company of CHICAGO, you are an incredibly talented and loving group of people and I am so honored that I could be a part of this amazing and historic show. I love you all!
