Today I got dressed in shorts and t-shirt then went outside to walk the dog and discovered how cold it actually was so I switched my T for a jumper and have been a complete dag hanging around home ever since. You dont need to see daggy me today so Ill tell you what Ive been up to instead. Defrosting the fridge (boring). Arranging my new lamp from Villa Hampton Glenelg on the sideboard next to our front door (yay!). Supervising Woody painting the walls in the studio (double yay). We have given ourselves a deadline to turn it back into a workspace compared to the unused dumping space it had become. In the last 6 months I have finally started doing little things to make this house our home. Its kind of overwhelming so I have made one corner at a time my mantra. So far I have managed to do my office nook, two sections of our long central hallway (it wont be properly finished until its painted because we have lots of hanging hook placement and rearranging to do)...the next rooms with on the agenda are the studio and our den. I know that eventually it will all come together and long weekends are great for us to get little jobs like this done. Do you have some redecorating in your home that you are longing to tackle? T xx
