Today I had the opportunity to be a part of something special. I had the honor to hang out and cook with Issa and Chef Bob Brazell in the kitchen at Athlete Eats. I learned today that 13 yr old Issa is battling cancer. I also learned a few other things about Issa too. First and foremost, Issa is one very nice kid. So great to meet a young person with so many interests and passions. One of those passions is to cook and today thats what we did. This morning Issa helped us prep the post game meal for the St. Louis Blues. And we sent him home with a variety pack of local premium proteins, so he could do some more cooking for his family. Thank you Chef Bob for inviting Macs Local Buys to be a part of this day and thank you Issa, what a pleasure it was getting to know you!
