Today I had to do one of the hardest things Ive ever done in my life. Kurt Aping is now out of the hospital and in Altenheim for long term care. We had a meeting last week with his cancer doctor and he informed us that none of the cancer treatments used on Kurt were successful. His pain just keeps increasing indicating the cancer is still very active. So they are turning their focus on keeping him comfortable and continuing pain management. My insurance is being difficult as always and Im not even sure how long hell be there because they initially are only covering two weeks. More stress I do not need. Pray that things work out so that he will receive the care he deserves. I will do my best to make sure that man that stole my heart 22 years ago gets everything he deserves.
