Today I have been impressed to give grace as a first response. My initial reaction is far too often anger, annoyance or impatience which generally leads to harsh words and hurt feelings. Today I remember that living for Christ and loving my wife means dying to myself daily. It is so easy to forget the basics of servant-leadership but today I have decided to do better. I want to be more selfless, to give more grace and to be more like Christ. Lord help me to be a servant-leader as you are. Remind me to give abundant grace, to die to myself and to place others above my own desires.
