Today I have taken some magnificent photos of magnificent things and been in awe of nature. I have soared angelic and plumbed the depths of despair as is the way my day goes but all that fades to second place in respect of the experience I just had with Vinnie and Nathan of wheels and tyres direct Station Garage Darsham. It may be golden hour and the light magical but I stop to make this post. The Dog walks in Vinnie and Nathan are sitting in the office days work done no doubt looking forward to closing up on a sunny Friday evening and what does providence send them? Me. I had gone to a bicycle expert earlier recommended by the fine folk at Westleton garage but this expert had looked at me funny no surprise and begrudgingly said he could do the job tomorrow. 75% of my gear is stashed 7 miles away in Dunwich woods. I could not carry it without the rack being repaired. So to wait til tomorrow? Where do I sleep? Cant wild camp twice in the same place id already been spotted. I would have has to ask a mini cab or a friend to take me to my next destination with the luggage and me ride to later. Im sitting in Lilys pantry Darsham. I have 30 minutes to make up my mind. The only place for miles with internet. I google mechanics. I look at the website the picture looks familiar. These guys are right behind the same building. I walk round give then the usual incredible Dog tale. Vinnie set to it like a surgeon. I thought jeez how much is this gonna cost me as he drilled out the screw that had sheared off which had to be sorted before any other consideration could be under taken. Will I have the thread left after? I had the temerity to ask, no Vinnie said worry about that later. I got out of the way. More drills came out from different boxes wider gauge 6mill thread were drilled I went back to the pantry. I thought shit I shoulda waited til tomorrow. A whole later I saw Nathan through the window. He waived and thumbed me in the direction is the workshop. I walked around holding my breath thinking how much is this going to cost me... Vinnie was there wheel back on tyre inflated even the rack looked like it had been polished. How much? I said... Do you believe in Karma? Vinnie said, yes I said, well, no charge he said. All the mistakes that took me here are far paid back by my this experience. VINNIE AND NATHAN GET THE ROAD DOG PALME DOR MÉDAILLE DHONNEUR PAR EXCELLENCE FOR GOING WAY BEYOND THE CALL OF DUTY AND SHOWING EVERYONE OUT THERE THAT ACTS OF HUMAN KINDNESS DO STILL EXIST BEYOND THW REALMS OF FICTION AND HOLY BOOKS. I AM WALKING ON AIR
