Today I learned, that if youre in Victoria, dont call an ambulance unless youre actually within minutes of death, or dead already. A roughly 12 minute ambulance ride where I got no morphine, didnt actually puke in the ambo and didnt even get to lay on the bed ended up costing $1115. I probably wouldve just caught a cab if at any time during the process an invoice was mentioned. Thats some sneaky shit Ambulance Victoria.
