Today I lost a Friend, More than a Friend. He was my Uncle Le Roy. He had a great life,He and his wife raised 2 kids and working for Commonwealth Edison in Illinois to retire and move up to the end of our farm on 15 acres that he loved to take care of here in LaValle, Wisconsin. He never got mad or angry at anyone or thing. He also farmed in his younger years near Downers Grove, Ill. He owned Farmalls, but we did not hold that against him. :) In his later years his son Russ and his wife Cindy moved up here and took excellent care of him. We appreciate all you have done for him and us. On Mondays, I would be expecting to hear from him. He would call and ask me as I awnsered: Is this Georgie McPherson the Tractor Puller? And then we proceded to chat how the pulls went since our last chat. He also asked about my whole family, as to how their health was. He never complained about his failing health. In closing he always said. Have fun but just be careful!!! I will definitely miss not getting that call every Monday. I am sure he is now starting his Farmall 400 to hitch to the back of my dads John Deere 70 to rip up the road. Le Roy you will be missed by many and say hi to my dad for me.
