Today I lost my aunt Shirley Cardinale. She was my dads older sister and the last of his siblings. She was such a strong adventurous women. Such memories I have of every summer being at Grandpas farm and seeing the Cardinales pull in with the station wagon full of kids bottoming out coming up the drive and then hearing their adventures of the trip from New York to Iowa. Sometimes she would bring a friend to help drive otherwise it was Shirley and her seven kids. Then unfortunately it became only six.. Rest in peace Shirley and now you are out of pain and with Gary and Kathy and the rest of the family that has passed on. You will be greatly missed..I love you.
