Today I m going to talk about our lives and the Choices made to set us on this path. I like to use a lot of metaphors and comparisons because to me these comparisons do justice to what I feel is happening in our lives. Todays Metaphor is simple really simple. The Path. The Path weve chosen, the path we walk. Our Lives are simply this. walking the path. Each decision we make, every action we take is a step down that path. This Path, this life is not easy and sometimes we cant even see it! And some times at our darkest moments we dont even believe there is one. One of the Best pieces of wisdom I ever heard came from an old Robin Hood showtime series. Robin is discouraged and he cries out to his Father who is actually some kind of druidic Diety. Father what you ask is to much the Target is to far! His Father simply replied with this You do not need to hit the Target my Son I only ask you to take aim To you my Brothers. To you my sisters. I only ask that you walk the path. I only ask you to take aim because the Target is cannot be forgotten, never forgotten You are the Target, YOU ARE THE ARROW and you are the Bow. You are walking the path and even if you are off it as long as you are fighting your way back to it, you are good. So put your hands in the air one more time to quote Shine down.
