Today I rejoice in knowing that my brother-in-law, Johnny Garretts Soul is at peace and rest in Heaven. Seeing his smile and hearing his laugh reminds me of good times and times of happiness. Though Big John is not physically present in our lives anymore, his spirit lives among us for eternity. All one needs to do is think of the good times things he said, things he did, and be reminded he is still here with us, in our Hearts !! Growing up around him taught me many things and I will carry those with me forever. Today family will gather to pay their last respects and lay Johnny to rest, and although I cannot be there physically, I will be there in Spirit, standing there with them. I will miss Him greatly but I am at peace knowing that he suffers no more !! Go Rest High on that Mountain my dear brother-in-law, for one day we will meet again !! Love you Johnny Garrett !!
