Today I said goodbye to my dearest friend, Margaret. It wasnt just see you, bye-bye, ciao, or any light hearted adios. But a final permanent farewell. I got the call I had known was coming. Yesterday she was able to swallow but today everything was gone. I held her hand & told her how much I loved her & what a wonderful friend shed been. I prayed for her with her daughter & granddaughter, asking God to gently lead her to Himself. Her conditions deteriorates with every hour. I kind of think she awaits the arrival of her two last children from NY. I will miss her greatly but have been blessed to have loved her & to have been loved by her.
