Today I spent the day, from 10 a.m. until just now, delivering my cookies in the rain to people that I love all over town. This is the 8th year of my 1000 cookie tradition, and I can honestly say that I have never been happier to have done it. You guys have made me feel so good this year. My best friend Taylor Perrone flew all the way home from London to help me bake, and I thought that just because of that Christmas couldnt get any better for me. But alas! I was wrong. Thank you all for making me feel so appreciated this year. I was given cookies from Evan Grysko and Jessica Coffin, bottles of wine from Deb Bee, Karen Zazazoo and Jamie Wasco, plus wine and a painting from Amyy Suzzanne. Humble Pie got me all choked up when he told me his favorite part of the holidays was my cookies (plus he gave me a really cool eco friendly flashlight), and friends like Christina Autumn Harzer have said similar things year after year. I know that giving cookies is a simple thing, but I work really hard with Taylor to get to 1000 and Ive never felt more valued and loved in my life. Thank you all for making the effort worth it. It isnt even Christmas yet and already this is the best holiday of my life. Merry freakin Christmas everyone!!!
