Today, I took both girls to the Pumpkin Patch. It was a great day! We got home at 2:15-both girls were asleep in the car, so I left them and unlocked the door and was headed right back out to get them and bring them inside. I walked in our kitchen and saw our freezer open? Then I saw our cabinets open. Then I looked into our den and saw that our belongings were thrown around and everything was in disarray. We had been robbed. I panicked and ran to the car and drove away, calling 911. I didnt know the extent of what had happened since I was trying to leave with my children in case the intruder was in our house. They took 2 Macbook Pro computers, 2 Samsung/LG TVs, baby monitor, all of my husbands rifles, all of my jewelry (minus wedding rings), my husbands state championship rings from Alabama and high school, a vintage camera, a Kindle Fire, and last but not least, a ring that my grandmother gave me when she found out she was dying from terminal cancer. They even went through our freezer, all of our drawers in our bedroom, our laundry room, Stellas room, Willows room--they ransacked everything. They even took the sheets off our bed to bag up the stuff in.There will continue to be things we discover missing...and we cannot even begin to fathom how much they really took. Its mind-blowing. Please pray for us as we try to recoup from this awful scenario.
