Today I want to honor the leaders of the past who have helped create justice, peace and progress in the world, and I pray for the current leaders who guide our global community. I support decision-makers in prayer. I believe they can reach wise and fair conclusions for all involved. As I pray, I remember that God is present in all people and in all sanctity of prayer. I place my trust in God. Perhaps I, too, may be inspired to lead in some ways. Whatever the inspiration, I respond with a willing and peaceful heart. In Romans 12:6, 8, it says, "We have gifts that differ according to the grace given to us:.... the leader, in diligence; the compassionate, in cheerfulness." God bless our wonderful country!
