Today I was challenged by Deborah Messersmith to a 5 day Puppy Photo Challenge, which is to post 2 hound photos per day. For my first day, Id like to share 2 photos of my first greyhound, A Bar Kit. This was my introduction to the larger greyhound family; and who knew I would gain so many friends from this endeavor! I adopted Kit from my dear friend, Gil. I remember that I asked him for a young, playful female that I could train to do dog dancing. I was not disappointed with my new girl! She challenged my training skills--but she became a wonderful dog dancing partner. She was a striking black hound and I loved coming up with routines that fit her personality, picking out music that matched her gait and picking out costumes for both of us. I started taking what I call people dance lessons in order to become better at dog dancing! I miss Kit and sometimes can still feel her brushing past my legs in her old dog dancing poses.
