Today I was going thru my messages and began responding a lady who in the midst of lifes struggles found herself far from her dream of being a playwright. But...I realize that the answer, was not only for her, but many, who find yourself far from your dream. So ... here it is... and I pray it speaks to you and your as well. The Word says that your gift will make room for you and bring you before great men. which means that even when there is no place or position for you, God takes His mighty hand and parts the way of opportunity like the Red Sea... and places you in it. Then you will look around and find yourself among the greats of that field...the Tyler Perrys the David Talberts...those that are doing what youve dreamed of doing. The God that GAVE you your dream (vision of your future self) is the same God the will bring it to fruition! Im out with a playwright right now...his names is Priest Tyaire, whos been doing plays for 7 years...spending his own money, losing houses, cars, etc. But he kept believing and never gave up. This is his 7th year of doing plays and now Im in Atlanta doing his 7th play, Mrs. Independent... and NOW... hes in the midst of putting up another one of his plays at the SAME TIME! COME ON NOW...2 NATIONAL PLAYS OUT AT THE SAME TIME???? God will give you DOUBLE for your TROUBLE!!! If you delight yourself in the Lord...He will give you the desires of your heart! That is my testimony. Every big, life changing opportunity that I have received...GOD opened the door and I walked by faith thru the doors that he opened for me! My devotional for today came from Hebrews 12:1-3...so you know were taking about faith, right? My Mom (RIP) use to say that Faith is stepping out on NOTHING...and landing on SOMETHING! I want you to really read that scripture and keep in mind to not be weary or give up in the process. If you despise the process, you will abort the PURPOSE!!! Hebrews 12:1-3 The Message (MSG) Discipline in a Long-Distance Race 12 1-3 Do you see what this means—all these pioneers who blazed the way, all these veterans cheering us on? It means we’d better get on with it. Strip down, start running—and never quit! No extra spiritual fat, no parasitic sins. Keep your eyes on Jesus, who both began and finished this race we’re in. Study how he did it. Because he never lost sight of where he was headed—that exhilarating finish in and with God—he could put up with anything along the way: Cross, shame, whatever. And now he’s there, in the place of honor, right alongside God. When you find yourselves flagging in your faith, go over that story again, item by item, that long litany of hostility he plowed through. That will shoot adrenaline into your souls! You WILL reap the REWARD... if you faint not! Be encouraged! You are anointed to be who you are and do what you do... that breakthrough is COMING in Gods APPOINTED time...but in the mean time, GET READY...DO THE WORK!... and when God raises the curtain and reveals you to the world...just SHINE, SHINE, SHINE!!!
