Today I was playing the pity party with self and God was to the rescue. Drove into town not feeling the best thought I would walk and possibly that would help. I pulled off road at Otter Creek ballpark and talked to Christy for a minute on phone because our phones are not working properly due to some work being done on house. She is such a prize of a Godly woman and always makes me feel better when we talk. Was going to turn around and go home and sulk a little more, but inspired by her I went into Walgreens, parked, potty break , and began to walk. Within 2 min of my walk I saw a very small lady pulling at something in her trunk, so nosey me I walked over and asked if I could help her. She was trying to lift a wheelchair out of the trunk that was twice the size she was. Not being the strongest person in the world, strength came from somewhere hmmmm, got the chair opened, man in passenger side said "I cannot walk or move so I will have to scoot into the chair." I knew she or I neither one could pick him up, but somehow he scooted into that wheelchair. She thanked and thanked me, I told her "I am the one who was blessed today ,and thank you for the blessing." You see, I know that God stepped in to tell me what an idiot I was being, self centered and so foolish. I believe He speaks to all of us in different ways, there is always someone out there much worse off than what you are. Be grateful for all you have and if you are a Believer...... amen to you.
