Today I went to an appt at Sullivan rehab. I noticed an elderly lady as I parked. When I got out of my car, this lady asked if I was going into the rehab building. When I told her yes, she asked if she could walk with me because there was a woman begging in the parking lot for money and she was scared. I immediately said yes. This nice lady was a tiny thing. Reminded me of my mom. I asked if she needed any assistance walking, she said no. I walked her in and made sure she got to her right place. This poor lady was scared to get out of her car because of some woman begging. She was afraid that woman might have a weapon or something. It wouldnt take much to hurt this lady, she was so tiny. So if you have family that has to go to appts, try to go with them so they wont have to worry like this little lady did.
