Today Im going to tell you all some pretty recent history. Its about Americas first dog president Dograck Obarka. Back in 2008 he ran for president against a really old cat named John McCat. Obarkas slogan was Yes We Canz Haz Cheezburger which pleased many kitties. John McCat was often critiqued for his running mate Sarah Mewlin not having much experience. All sorts of rumors spread about Obarka, like he worshiped Basement Cat, swore in as senator on the LOLCatQuran instead of the LOLCatBible or was even Basement Cat in disguise. However, none of these rumors have been confirmed. Obarka won by a land auld and the nation had many mixed feelings. One side was excited to have a dog president (embarrassingly some admitted to voting for him simply because hes a dog) and the other half feared he was going the same route as Kitler. In the 2012 election his opponent Mit Meowly was critiqued for strapping his dog minion on the roof of his catcar and lead Obarka to win re-election. The nation still has mixed feelings about him (although most criticize him for playing fetch too much). A very controversial politician indeed.
